Helpful hints for carers
When dementia leads to aggression
One in three people living with dementia have been aggressive at times and it can be very difficult for family carers to know how to react and cope. Linda Lawson, Alzheimer's Society Information Officer has provided a link to their very informative and supportive factsheet ‘Aggressive behaviour’ and also this useful website by Lifted Care.

Linda says "I would be interested to hear from anyone, professionals or carers who have experienced aggressive behaviour from a person who has dementia and what tips you have regarding how to deal with it. I will collate all the responses, anonymously, and share with everyone", email address here.
